Oloja, operated by Ebenville Technology, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the oversight of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
The data controller is Ebenville Technology, [registered address to be confirmed], Nigeria. For any privacy request, contact info@olojade.com.ng.
Account and contact details (name, email, phone); delivery addresses; order records; device and usage data needed to run the service. For merchants and riders, we also collect identity-verification information and documents (KYC) required to operate on the platform.
To create and secure your account; to process orders and deliveries; to verify identity where the law or platform integrity requires it; to provide support; to comply with legal obligations; and to improve the service. We rely on the performance of our contract with you, your consent where required, our legitimate interests, and legal obligations.
We share data only as needed to provide the service: our database, authentication and file-storage provider (Supabase); delivery/rider partners to fulfil orders; and infrastructure providers who host the platform. Payments on Oloja are not yet processed through the platform — when a payment processor is integrated, this policy will be updated to describe how it handles your data. We do not sell your personal data.
Some of the providers we rely on may process data outside Nigeria as part of delivering their service to us. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to keep your data protected.
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it. [specific retention periods to be confirmed]
We use technical and organisational measures — including access controls and private storage for identity documents — to help protect your data. No system can be guaranteed fully secure.
Under the NDPA you have rights in relation to your personal data, including to access it, correct it, request its erasure, object to certain processing, and request that it be transferred to you or another provider, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact info@olojade.com.ng. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the NDPC.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as language, and limited analytics to improve the service. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We may update this policy and will post the new version here. Questions? Email info@olojade.com.ng or support@olojade.com.ng.
